Last week, I shared a list of events to look forward to in Monterey County this November. As your Central Coast real estate agent, I’d like to share a list of events taking place in SLO County this month as well! Choose the events that sound most fun, or are most conveniently located for you, and enjoy the last full month of fall here on the Central Coast.

• On Nov. 11, head to the Atascadero Veterans Memorial for a Veterans Day Ceremony. At 11 a.m., the community will gather to honor those who served our country in the past and present. After the ceremony that the Veterans Memorial Foundation is hosting, Kiwanis will provide a celebration of music and a community BBQ.

• You can also head to the Pismo Beach Pier on Nov. 11 for Veterans Day Celebration on the Pier. Beginning at 11 a.m., they will honor Veterans with music, introductions and more. Afterward, enjoy walking along the water, or on the pier or boardwalk, or enjoy a bite to eat at an area restaurant.

• If you’re already ready for winter holiday fun, head to The Apple Farm Inn and Restaurant in San Luis Obispo, beginning Nov. 12! They will be decked out with holiday décor, and you can enjoy visits and photos with Santa beginning Nov. 26, Christmas carolers in December, supper with Santa and more.

• On Nov. 12, you can begin your holiday shopping in Paso Robles at Elegant Evening Downtown! It’s free to attend. Start (or finish!) your holiday shopping as downtown shops open their doors for the holiday open house from 5 to 8 p.m. You can enjoy refreshments, music and entertainment while shopping, along with complimentary carriage rides, strolling minstrels and live mannequins!

• Get some holiday shopping done at Holiday Boutique at the Pavilion on the Lake in Atascadero as well. On Nov, 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., more than 50 vendors will be selling their handmade goods. Everything being sold is handmade, so if you’re looking for that one-of-a-kind gift, this is the place to find it! Admission is free.
