As a Central Coast real estate agent, I want to point out a few reasons why now might be the perfect time to sell!
Though the Central Coast real estate market slows down during the holiday season, it never stops. There are always people needing to buy and needing to sell. Here are five reasons why KCM Crew recommends a homeowner sell now rather than wait:
- There is less competition from other sellers! This is one the biggest perks. Most Central Coast home sellers will wait to list their home until after all of the holiday hoopla is over, which will increase competition. If you sell now, you will attract most buyers who need to buy now.
- Relocation buyers are still out there. Companies don’t stop hiring, therefore people needing to relocate for a job need to do so now. Kids are out of school during the holidays, so some families find it the perfect time to move. Not everyone celebrates Christmas. There will always be buyers!
- Buyers that are looking during the holiday season are serious buyers. Because the market is slower this time of year, you know that buyers looking for homes during the holiday season are serious about buying. If they weren’t, they’d wait. You can expect a faster transaction!
- You are in control. It’s still a seller’s market. If you have a lot of holiday parties, school programs and holiday shopping to partake in, you can control when showings will take place. We can work around your schedule so that it is as convenient as possible for you.
