In my last blog post, I filled you in on Easter activities for the kids, along with Easter brunches and special menus, coming up this weekend in SLO County. Today, let’s talk about where and how to celebrate Easter in Monterey County! Because as a Central Coast real estate agent, I work in both counties, and each one has their own collection of events and activities around town.

Whether you’re looking for a kid-friendly Easter egg hunt, or a special brunch for the whole family on Sunday, Monterey County has you covered.

Easter Events

• On Saturday, April 15, bring the kids to the Pacific Grove Golf Links for a free Easter Egg Hunt! It begins at 9 a.m. Hundreds of eggs will be scattered along the golf course for kids of all ages to collect. Enjoy entertainment and refreshments as well.

• The Oldemeyer Center in Seaside will present their Annual Golden Egg Hunt this Saturday. Admission is free and begins at 11 a.m. Kids can enjoy an egg hunt, family activities, interactive crafts, bounce houses, a petting zoo and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Make an afternoon of it!

• In Monterey County, egg hunts are just for kids. Peter B’s Brewpub hosts an Adult Easter Eggstravaganza for ages 21 and up. This will take place this Thursday, April 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sign up for the hunt and win prizes inside each egg found, such as gift cards, concert tickets and more!

Easter Brunches

There are too many to name them all, but here are a few of your dining options for Sunday, April 16:

• Pacific’s Edge at the Hyatt Carmel Highlands in Carmel will host an Easter Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will feature an omelet station, carving station, salads, desserts and more.

• At Edgar’s Restaurant in Carmel Valley, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy an Easter Brunch that features baked salmon, leg of lamb, omelets and more. Kids can go on an Easter egg hunt right outside!

• Fandango in Pacific Grove will host an Easter Brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., featuring roast leg of lamb, honey glazed baked ham, eggs benedict Florentine and more.

• At Stillwater Bar & Grill in Pebble Beach, enjoy a seafood station, omelet station, carving station, salads and plenty of desserts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. during their Easter Brunch.

• Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa will host their Easter Brunch Buffet in their ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy seafood, omelets, sushi, pasta, New York strip, desserts and more.
