From one holiday to the next, there are plenty of Christmas-themed events coming up in the Central Coast region of California! Are you in the holiday spirit yet? If not, attending one or a few of these upcoming events in Monterey County will be sure to put you in one. As your Monterey County real estate agent, I am here to fill you in!

• Who says you have to live somewhere cold to enjoy ice skating outdoors? You can enjoy ice skating on the Central Coast, right near the ocean! Head to Ice Skating by the Bay at Custom House Plaza in Monterey from now through Jan. 1. It runs daily, including holidays.

• There are plenty of tree lighting ceremonies coming up, including the Pacific Grove Christmas Tree Lighting tonight, Nov. 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The tree is located in Jewell Park. Enjoy the lighting ceremony and Santa’s Christmas Party at Chautauqua Hall, with entertainment and refreshments.

• Christmas at the Inns takes place on Nov. 29 and 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. Ten of Pacific Grove’s bed and breakfasts and inns deck their halls and open their doors to guests. Stroll around to a few or all 10 and appreciate the Victorian-era splendor while enjoying live music and holiday treats at each one.

• Pacific Grove is on a roll this week, because their Holiday Parade of Lights also takes place Thursday, Dec. 1, from 6 to 7 p.m. Enjoy this hometown holiday parade all lit up, with lighted parade floats, marching bands, dance troupes, equestrian performers, carolers, and of course, Santa.

• The Carmel-by-the-Sea Christmas Tree Lighting will take place this Friday, Dec. 2, at 3:30 p.m. Head to Devendorf Park for live entertainment, refreshments and a visit from Santa. The tree is lit at 5:45 p.m., and afterward, Carmel Plaza will host their annual open house.

• Visit with Santa and his reindeer under the Golden State Theatre in Old Monterey! From 12 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 3, live reindeer will be available for you to view, and Santa will be available to take photos with and to find out what you want for Christmas this year. Enjoy gifts, treats and making memories.

• Marina’s Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration at Vince DiMaggio Park takes place this Saturday, Dec. 3, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening of caroling around the live Christmas tree, more entertainment, s’mores at an open fire, cookies, hot apple cider and an appearance from Santa.
