As your Central California real estate agent, I already shared a bunch of information with you about Sunset’s Savor the Central Coast, which begins tomorrow and runs all weekend! However, since this is one of the biggest events of the entire year, there is plenty more to share about this exciting event.
What is fantastic about Sunset’s Savor is that events and activities are taking place all over the Central Coast. So even if you can’t make it to the Main Event, there is sure to be at least one event that is near you or in your price range. You’ve got so many to choose from!

Thursday:
- Create Botanical Spa Products with Sycamore Mineral Springs in Avila Beach. Explore the world of farm-to-spa botanical products. Tour the resort’s organic garden and then learn how to make your own luxurious spa products from the garden’s botanicals.
- Blend Wild Wine near Ancient Peaks at historic Santa Margarita Vineyard. Ticket includes you creating your own personal blend of wine that will be bottled, custom labeled and finished with a wax dip. Afterward, enjoy a gourmet lunch.
Friday:
- Experience the Dream at Hearst Castle. You’ll receive an exclusive tour of Hearst Castle. Afterward, enjoy a gourmet lunch and Caliza Winery wines served on the mezzanine of Casa del Mar, with gorgeous views of the California coastline.
- Celebrate Autumn’s Harvest at Windrose Farm in Paso Robles. Tour the farm grounds, sample heirloom tomatoes, and then enjoy one-of-a-kind Bloody Mary’s and lunch from Avila’s Ocean Grill.
- Become a Balsamic Vinegar Guru in Atascadero. Learn how the garden’s fruits, herbs and vegetables are infused into award-winning vinegars. Then, enjoy a lunch that incorporates these vinegars.
- The Ultimate Wine Experience at Halter Ranch: Vineyard Hike, Café Tour and Harvest Lunch. The title pretty much sums up this amazing day of activity, education and delicious flavors!
- Brown Sugar & Barrels at the Cliffs takes place from 6 to 11 p.m. at The Cliffs in Pismo Beach. You can enjoy dinner, dessert, drinks and dancing for $95, or just dessert, drinks and dancing from 9 to 11 p.m. for $25. Check out the website for the full menu and entertainment lineup.
- Coastal Fusion at Ventana Grill with Biddle Ranch Vineyards takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. For $120, you can enjoy a five-course meal showcasing Latin flavors from Executive Chef Ricardo Ortega. His favorite recipes will be paired with wines from Biddle Ranch Vineyards.
Saturday:
- Sunset in the Vineyards takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. at Vina Robles and promises a fun night with the co-founders of the Beach Boys performing! When you purchase your concert ticket, you can also reserve a picnic basket for two, which includes cheeses, sourdough bread, wine discounts and more!
