As your Central California real estate agent, I’ve already shared with you a detailed rundown of the main events happening as part of Paso Robles Wine Festival this weekend, and a list of the pre-party and after-party events. Today, I’d like to share some of the events and activities that are taking place at Paso Robles wineries and tasting rooms, in honor of the fest.
Downtown Paso Robles won’t be the only place hopping this weekend. Many of our local wineries will offer special wines, food, prices and entertainment, so everyone in Paso Robles has plenty of celebratory options! Here is a selection of the events happening around town:
- Pear Valley Vineyards will pour their never-before-released 2010 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon this Friday, May 16, at their tasting room! Winery tours and light snacks will be available as well. On Saturday, they’ll be at the Grand Tasting and also at their tasting room, with snacks and the sounds of Loren Ridis. They suggest you bring a picnic and enjoy the wine, music and views. Sunday, they’ll have more music and snacks, new wine releases and case specials!
- Pomar Junction Vineyard will be hosting another Train Wreck Friday this Friday with live music from Carbe-Durand from Incendio. Enjoy barbecue or bring your own food to cook on the community grill. Then on Saturday, pay them a visit to enjoy some delicious wine and Cayucos Sausage Company sausages! Sunday, they’ll be offering up food items from Stein’s BBQ and Catering.
- Le Vigne Winery has a new tasting room, and Paso Robles Wine Festival weekend is the perfect time to pay them a visit! They’ll be pouring great wines and serving great cheese. Stop in before or after heading to the Grand Tasting! They are also hosting a winemaker dinner on Saturday at 6 p.m., with a few tickets still left. On Sunday, they are hosting a Wine Festival cooking class at 2 p.m.
- Sculpterra Winery will be hosting a fun day on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. for everyone who can’t make it to the Grand Tasting event. There will be live music by The Lady Crooners, a Santa Maria Style BBQ lunch with all the fixings, and of course, lots of wine. On Friday, they will have Vivant Cheese and Salumi from Alle Pia, and case discounts. Sunday, enjoy more live music!
- Castoro Cellars is hosting a Wine Festival Kick-Off Concert on Friday night with Bobby Santacruz and his band! Dining with Andre is catering for the event and has a delectable menu available, and attendees will receive their first glass of wine from Catoro’s now famous keg barrel. Saturday and Sunday, they’ll be hosting an Open House at their Tasting Room, both days will feature live music, and you can enjoy their Yoga in the Vines class on Sunday! menu
This time of year is just gorgeous in Paso Robles, as our rolling hills come to life with lush green grass, bright yellow mustard fields and budding vines. Take it all in while sipping on local wines, listening to live music, enjoying the beautiful weather, and being grateful to live in such an amazing place!
