Paso Robles Wine Festival After Parties!

wine_glassesAs a Central California real estate agent who works closely with Paso Robles, I couldn’t be more excited for the Paso Robles Wine Festival coming up this week! This is one of the biggest events of the year, with more than 60 wineries participating in the Grand Tasting event.

The Festival officially runs from May 15 to May 17. It begins this Thursday, with special winemaker dinners taking place at Thomas Hill Organics and Il Cortile Ristorante. A winemaker seminar takes place Saturday morning, and the Grand Tasting event takes place Saturday afternoon in Paso Robles Downtown City Park. More information about all of this can be found in my last blog post.

If you aren’t able to attend these events, or you just want to keep the party going long before or after the main event, some local merchants and wineries are providing extra festival fun! Mark these events in your calendar. Anyone can attend.

1.  If you didn’t score tickets to the quaint winemaker dinners on Thursday evening, head Downtown Paso Robles for Third Thursday! Key downtown merchants have special offerings for shoppers, and by participating, you are giving back to must! charities! Participating merchants include AndBe, Il Cortile Ristorante, La Cosecha Bar + Restaurant, LXV Wine, Salon Roux, Studios on the Park and The Wearhouse.

2.  After the Grand Tasting event ends, head over to Broken Earth Winery in Paso Robles for the after party. Young Dubliners will be performing Celtic rock ‘n’ roll, with special guest King Washington as the opening act. This begins at 7 p.m. but doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $25 for general admission, or $20 for wine club members. They recommend you bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the concert. Food will be available for purchase by Steins Catering and Gusto Gourmet Market & Café. Wine will be flowing!

3.  Sunday Funday will take place at Home Family Wines in Paso Robles on May 18, from noon to 4 p.m. This event will include wine and pizza, a giant Connect 4 game, giant Jenga, an adult bouncehouse, Cornhole, live music, a Dance Dance Revolution competition and more. So basically, it’s a huge kid’s party… but for adults. Cost is $20 per person, or $15 for club members. You must be 21 or older to attend this event.

Mark these special events in your calendar and enjoy this exciting week in Paso Robles!
