The wine never stops flowing in Paso Robles, or anywhere in Central California! This month especially, you can score wine deals all over SLO County as part of SLO County Restaurant Month. As your Central California real estate agent, I gave you all those details in this blog post. Today, I’d like to fill you in on two exciting wine events coming up this weekend in Paso Robles!
Esprit Du Vin
The Wineries of Highway 46 East are celebrating Esprit Du Vin, “Spirit of Wine,” this Saturday, Jan. 17! This event will take place at Le Vigne Winery from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will include wine, gourmet cheeses, local delights and live music.
Each of the 13 wineries will feature their wines paired with gourmet cheeses. While you sample, you can also enjoy live music by local band “Acoustify,” or you can walk around and tour Le Vigne’s tasting room, barrel room and tank farm.
Aside from the delicious gourmet cheeses, numerous local chefs, caterers and food artisans will be present to offer tasty bites. This includes Thomas Hill Organics, Steins Catering, Clementine Cupcake Company, TheraBee Honey, The Olive Station, The Chocolate Stache and many others. You certainly won’t go hungry at this event!
Tickets to Esprit Du Vin cost $35 per person or $60 per couple.
Winter Wine Stroll
If you’d like to stay closer to home, plan to attend the Winter Wine Stroll on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 3 to 7 p.m. in downtown Paso Robles! This takes place at numerous tasting rooms throughout the downtown area. They will all come together to offer 14 rare wines and barrel samples paired with gourmet hors d’oeuvres.
Each tasting room will feature one specially selected wine. These will be either a reserve bottle from their library, a winemaker’s choice, or a barrel sample of a future release! Along the way, you can enjoy live music and maybe even some dancing!
Tickets cost $20, which includes a commemorative glass and all the tastings. Tastings take place from 3 to 7 p.m., and then from 7 to 8 p.m., a Winter Wine After Party will take place at one of the downtown tasting rooms. The location will be announced that night!
