With so many holiday events and activities happening around Central California this month, it’s no surprise that Santa Claus will be making numerous appearances! Have your kids write out their wish lists and keep them handy, because there are plenty of opportunities for them to hand Santa their list and to get a photo with him in Central California.
As your Central California real estate agent, I’ve made the Santa search easy this year by creating a guide as to where he’ll be this month in the Central California area:
- Attend the Atascadero Winter Wonderland on Friday, Dec. 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. A huge pile of snow will be created for the kids to jump and play in, and Santa will be there to join the fun. There will also be entertainment and refreshments. This all takes place Downtown Atascadero!
- Head to Vine Street Victorian Showcase on Saturday, Dec. 13, between 6 and 9 p.m. to see Santa and Mrs. Claus! Alongside them will be the Grinch, the Snow King and Queen, choirs, carolers, dancers, floats, the Paso Robles High School Marching Band and more. It’s a whole holiday extravaganza.
- The Cambria Lions will host a Lion’s Children’s Christmas Program on Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pinedorado Grounds in Cambria. This free event will include food, games and a visit with Santa. Bring the camera and enjoy some old-fashioned family fun.
- Visit Paso Robles Main Street Association’s Holiday House in Downtown City Park to visit with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Dec. 21 through Dec. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring your wish list and cameras!
- Look for Santa and Mrs. Claus in Morro Bay between Dec. 15 and 17 from 5 to 9 p.m. during the Caroling Cop Cars and Christmas Trolley Parade! The Morro Bay Neighborhood Watch Association and Police Department will escort the Claus couple on trolleys while caroling through Morro Bay neighborhoods.
- Head to Atascadero on Dec. 20 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Holiday Magic at the Zoo! Santa and his elves will deliver wrapped packages to the animals at Charles Paddock Zoo, and you get to watch as the animals investigate and tear open their packages. Hot chocolate and crafts will be available as well.
- Register for the 24th annual Victorian Teddy Bear Tea in the Paso Robles Inn Park Ballroom on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. Kids can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and with the Snow King and Queen, some elves, and Victorian friends. Kids can also enjoy decorating gingerbread cookies, coloring and snacking on candy canes.
