The beginning of 2020 is flying by. If you haven’t yet taken advantage of Restaurant Month in San Luis Obispo County, now is the time to get some reservations in and enjoy dining out for a special price! As your Central Coast real estate agent, I’m here to give you the scoop, so you don’t miss out.
During SLO CAL Restaurant Month, participating restaurants offer prix-fixe menus for a set price. These range from 2-4 courses, $30-$40 per person. Days of offerings vary per restaurant, so it’s smart to check out the list of participating restaurants ahead of time, see when their special menus are available, and check out what’s on the menus. When you find one you like, pop in or make a reservation!
This is a great chance to take a night off from cooking after the holidays, to try a new restaurant that you might not otherwise visit, and to try multiple dishes from menus for less than it would normally cost. Most places get a restaurant week; SLO CAL is one of the few places where you can enjoy these offerings for an entire month!
Niner West Estates in Paso Robles – Enjoy three courses for $40, including wine pairings Thursday through Sunday. Menu includes garden chicory salad, chicken and hunter’s gravy, and thin pancakes with citrus and lavender caramel.
Fig at Courtney’s House in Paso Robles – Enjoy four courses for $30, one of the better deals! Menu includes a spread and bread trio, a winter salad, rustic polenta with homemade marinara, and a waffle cone chocolate sundae.
Café Bovino in Paso Robles – Enjoy three courses for $30, or $40 with wine pairings, Fridays through Sundays. Menu includes spiced chicken wrap, espresso rubbed boneless pork chop, and blondie brownie with French vanilla ice cream and bourbon salted caramel sauce.
Robin’s Restaurant in Cambria – Enjoy three courses for $35, Sunday through Thursday. Optional wine pairings cost $16 extra. Menu includes choice of empanadas, salad or soup du jour, then tandoori chicken, pork chop or butternut squash enchiladas, then crème brulee or chocolate tart.
Windows on the Water in Morro Bay – Enjoy three courses for $40, or three courses with wine for $55. Menu options include mixed greens or lobster bisque, grilled flat iron or swordfish, and lemon mousse or chocolate ganache.
Villa San-Juliette Winery in San Miguel – Enjoy a three course lunch with wine pairings for $40. Menu includes cream of wild mushroom soup or green salad with herbed vinaigrette, duck confit cassoulet, and Parisian cheese plate. This is available Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
