Feeling down now that the holiday season is over in Central California? Sick of cooking after all those holiday gatherings? You’re in luck! The month of January is Restaurant Month in SLO County! Get out and enjoy some new food, or some old favorites, during this special month. As you Central California real estate agent, I’m here to fill you in on all the details.

Restaurant Month officially runs from Jan. 4 through Jan. 29, 2016. Participating restaurants are offering prix-fixe menus of three courses between $30 and 40 per person. You should call the restaurant you’re interested in dining at this month to find out the hours and days they’re participating, and to make a reservation.

Local wine deals are back as well this month at Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wineries! Check with your favorite local wineries to see what kind of wine specials they’re offering this month.

Here’s a selection of the restaurants participating this year:

• In Atascadero – Crazy Sushi Fever, Fig Good Food, Guest House Grill, Que Pasa and Union & Vine

• In Avila Beach – The Gardens of Restaurant, Ocean Grill Avila Beach and Olde Port Inn

• In Cambria – Robin’s Restaurant

• In Grover Beach – Rib Line by the Beach

• In Morro Bay – Windows on the Water and 60 State Park Restaurant

• In Paso Robles – Artisan, Cello Ristorante & Bar, Bistro Laurent, Estrella Restaurant, Fish Gaucho, La Cosecha Bar & Restaurant, Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse and many more

• In Pismo Beach – Giuseppe’s Cucina Italiana, Spyglass Inn Restaurant, Steamers of Pismo, SeaVenture Restaurant, F. McLintocks and more

• In San Luis Obispo – Alex Madonna’s Gold Rush Steakhouse, Apple Farm, Broad Street Rib Line, Buona Tavola, Copper Café at Madonna Inn, Eureka! and many more

For example, at Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse, the menu consists of an arugula salad, grilled Manhattan sirloin and crème brulee cheesecake. At SeaVenture Restaurant in Pismo Beach, you have three options with each of three courses. For the first course, you can choose from goat cheese salad, margarita flatbread or wild mushrooms and truffle, and so on. At Guest House Grill in Atascadero, you have two options within each course. The main course options include rack of lamb or pan seared salmon.
