Father’s Day is this weekend on the Central Coast! Do you know how you’ll celebrate with dad this upcoming weekend? As your Monterey County and SLO County real estate agent, I’ve gathered some ideas for where to take dad, and what to, this upcoming weekend on the Central Coast.
Decide which of these events or activities the dad in your family would enjoy most:
- If dad loves cars, take him to the Pismo Beach Classic Car Show this weekend, Friday through Sunday, in Downtown Pismo Beach. This impressive show features over 850 classic cars and street rods. There will also be a beer garden, vendors and even RV camping if interested!
- Who says spa treatments are only for females? Let dad relax with a spa treatment at Madonna Inn! All weekend, special dad treatments include a caveman massage, a bamboo massage, or sticks and stones. Dad will receive a glass of house wine or a domestic beer in the Silver Bar Cocktail Lounge afterward.
- If dad loves wine, take him to the Carmel Valley Art & Wine Celebration this Saturday, June 18. You can enjoy award-winning local wine tastings, art exhibits and live music. Tasting tickets cost $30 in advance or $40 at the door.
- Run in the Name of Love 5K takes place this Sunday, June 19, in Carmel-by-the-Sea. It begins at Carmel’s Sunset Center and follows a beautiful coastal path. All runners and walkers are encouraged to run in the name of someone you love, so you could run for dad!
- Poppy Hills Golf Course in Pebble Beach is hosting their second annual Father’s Day Blues Festival in the Forest on Sunday! Bring dad by for a day of live Blues performances while enjoying food trucks and a beer garden.
- Bring dad to Hunter Ranch Golf Course for a Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday. The brunch buffet will include a taco bar, a seafood station, pastry and fruit bar, a complimentary beer for dad and plenty more of your brunch buffet favorites. Make reservations!
- Bring dad to Bernardus Lodge & Spa for their Father’s Day BBQ on Sunday in Carmel Valley! This includes free-range chicken, Angus beef hamburgers, artisan sausages, country potato salad, organic green salad and corn-on-the-cob. Afterward, enjoy playing bocce ball and croquet with the family.
- Edgar’s at Quail Lodge is the place to bring dad on Sunday. Dads are encouraged to bring their favorite ride to show off, or they can check out other people’s rides. Then dads can unite as they enjoy a brunch that includes slow-cooked ribs, steak and eggs and much more.
- If you bring dad to Melville’s Tavern in Monterey on Sunday, he can enjoy $2 beer specials and free bacon. Need I say more? Brunch begins at 10:30 a.m.
