Last week, I shared a list of restaurants in Monterey County that are taking Thanksgiving dinner reservations and are serving traditional Thanksgiving food. As your Central California real estate agent, I’d like to now share with you where you can find a traditional turkey meal in SLO County! Since Thanksgiving is only a week away, don’t waste any time making reservations.
- Artisan in Paso Robles is celebrating Thanksgiving with traditional holiday favorites. You can enjoy a four-course meal by choosing from a list of options for each course. First course options include black truffle ravioli and king crab, with soup and salad options as a second course, and turkey with all the trimmings for the third course. Other options include lamb shank, halibut, rib eye or roasted pumpkin gratin. Then you have three dessert options!
- Paso Robles Inn in Paso Robles will be serving up Thanksgiving food buffet style! You have the option of joining them for a new breakfast buffet from 7 to 11 a.m., or for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $39.95 per person, $14 for kids age 12 and under, and free for age five and under. Dishes include roasted pumpkin soup, smoked salmon, turkey and prime rib carving stations, green bean casserole, candied yams, cranberry chutney and many more.
- Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo is serving a Thanksgiving menu from 12 to 9 p.m. Cost is $36.95 for adults and $16.95 for children 12 and younger. Options include traditional roast turkey and dressing, prime rib of beef, honey glazed ham, hazelnut crusted trout or roasted pork loin. Each comes with soup or salad, vegetables, roasted yams, mashed potatoes, cornbread, a slice of pie and a beverage.
- Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo is serving a special holiday menu on Thanksgiving from 12 to 10 p.m. The menu features roast duck, honey baked ham and roasted turkey, each served with an antipasto sampler, dinner rolls, soup or salad, snap peas, whipped potatoes and candied yams. These choices cost $35.95 for adults and $21.95 for kids 12 and under. You can also choose an entree such as filet mignon, swordfish or lobster tail, and lots of desserts are available. You have many options!
