Are you in need of a drink or two after the last few weeks we’ve had at Lake Nacimiento? Wineries in Paso Robles consistently host events and activities throughout the year, but this month, you may find that there are more events taking place than usual! That is because September is a great opportunity to celebrate the harvest on the Central Coast. Check out this list of events coming up in Paso Robles, and mark down the ones that sound most appealing to you.
- Let loose at Vina Robles Amphitheatre this Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. Internationally-recognized rock band NEEDTOBREATHE will be performing an intimate live music experience. Sip on wine while enjoying the music! Tickets cost $36-$46 plus fees.
- For some free music, head to Harmony Cellars Friday night from 5 to 7 p.m. for Twilight Hours in Harmony. Enjoy live music by Jill Knight and food from Diva Dogs. No reservations are needed and music is free, so bring your blanket or lawn chairs! No outside food/drink is allowed.
- Croad Vineyards host their Croad Sausage Sizzle again this Saturday from 1 to 3:30 p.m.! Savor a grilled banger and onion sandwich for just $5 and a house blend ‘661’ for $7. Kiwi hour is between 2 and 3 p.m., when you can purchase wine by the glass for half off!
- Saturday, Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery is offering a Barrel Tech Tasting! Beginning at 9:30 a.m., enjoy a comparative tasting with Bob as you dig into their barrel aging program. You’ll learn the difference between each barrel makers oak. Cost is $40 for members and $50 for non-members.
- Saturday night, enjoy a date night at Four Sisters Ranch Vineyard & Winery during Movie Night! Tickets cost $10 and include the movie, popcorn and a glass of wine. Bring your chairs or blanket! You may also bring snacks or purchase additional snacks and candy in the tasting room.
- Mitchella Vineyard & Winery is hosting Mitchella Lobster Fest from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday! Enjoy a feast of shrimp, artichoke, corn on the cob, sausage, potatoes and more, topped with fresh Maine Lobster and a glass of wine! Cost is $80 for wine club members and $100 for non-members.
- Olivas de Oro Olive Company is hosting an Orchard to Table dinner at 7 p.m. on Saturday! Enjoy a five-course dinner featuring olive oils, local produce and meat, and each course will be paired with a selection of wines from Creston Wineries. Cost is $95 for members and $115 for non-members.
