If you are bummed that the holiday season is over on the Central Coast, have no fear. SLO County Restaurant Month is just beginning! This is a great reason to leave the house and try new dishes at restaurants all over the SLO County region. It’s also a great excuse to take some time off of cooking, especially if you hosted a holiday gathering at your Central Coast home!

As your SLO County real estate agent, allow me to fill you in on the details, so that you can get out and enjoy as much delicious cuisine as you can this month.

SLO County Restaurant Month began yesterday, Jan. 2, and runs through Jan. 31. Participating restaurants are offering special prix-fixe menus of three courses for $30 to $40 per person.

In addition to the delicious food deals you get to enjoy, Go Local Wine Deals are back as well! Participating wineries in Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo will offer wine deals throughout the month of January in conjunction with Restaurant Month. I’ll share more about this in my next blog post.

Here’s a selection of the restaurants in SLO County participating in Restaurant Month:

• Mclintocks Saloon & Grill in Arroyo Grande, 3 for $30 everyday

• Crazy Sushi Fever in Atascadero, 3 for $30 daily

• Guest House Grill in Atascadero, 3 for $30 daily

• The Gardens of Restaurant in Avila Beach, 3 for $30 daily

• Robin’s Restaurant in Cambria, 3 for $30 daily

• Cass House Grill in Cayucos, 3 for $40 Thursdays through Sundays for dinner only

• Rib Line by the Beach in Grover Beach, 3 for $30 daily

• Windows on the Water in Morro Bay, 3 for $35 or 3 with wine for $50 daily

• Buona Tavola in Paso Robles, 3 for $30 Sunday through Thursday only

• The Grill at Hunter Ranch Golf Course in Paso Robles, 3 for $20 lunch only Monday through Saturday

• Marisol at The Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach, 3 for $30 daily

• Big Sky Café in San Luis Obispo, 3 course menu for two for $40 Sunday through Wednesday and Thursdays after 5 p.m.

• Buona Tavola in San Luis Obispo, 3 for $30 Sunday through Thursday only

As you can see, some of the participating restaurants only offer their prix fixe menus at certain times, so it’s best to call ahead and to make a reservation. No shared plates are allowed unless otherwise noted.
