Where to Shop in Central California This Weekend!

Central California Real Estate
Central California Shopping

With Black Friday and Small Business Saturday coming up this week in Central California, you might be wondering where to find the best deals. As your Central California real estate agent, I want to encourage you to shop local and support our small businesses in the Central California area as much as possible! To help you plan, here are some suggestions on where to spend your time shopping this week:

  • Spend your Black Friday supporting local artist and crafters at the Holiday Craft Bazaar in Paso Robles Downtown City Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! This is the perfect opportunity to show your support for locals while shopping amongst unique and original arts, crafts and handmade goods from local purveyors. Admission is free! The cost for vendor space goes to the Cancer Support Community to light the downtown park trees. So, all money spent on this event goes to a great cause!
  • If you live closer to Santa Cruz in Monterey County, head to the Annual Art, Wine & Gift Bazaar on Black Friday from noon to 5 p.m. Surf City Vintners wineries are hosting this event, where attendees can enjoy wine tasting while shopping amongst handcrafted gifts made by local artisans. A portion of tasting fees will go to the Walnut Avenue Women’s Center in Santa Cruz. Food and clothing donations will also be accepted for the Center. Tastings fees will vary from $5 to $10. Admission to the bazaar is free!
  • If wine is what you seek on Black Friday, visit Robert Hall Winery for their annual holiday sale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This sale only comes once a year, so stock up on wine for holiday parties, to give as gifts, or just to enjoy during this hectic time of year.
  • Downtown San Luis Obispo is hosting a Central Coast Craft Fair and Boutique on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday! It has been held for 34 years now as a way to showcase local artisans. This takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Veteran’s Hall. Vendors include contemporary and country crafters and artisans. Guests can enjoy free cider and cookies while shopping. Admission and parking is free.
  • On Sunday, if you haven’t had your fill of shopping yet, head to the Merchants Holiday Street Fair in Morro Bay between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. It’ll include holiday festivities, kids’ entertainment, food and plenty of gifts to purchase. Admission is free.

Enjoy your weekend full of shopping here in Central California! If a Lake Nacimiento home is the purchase you would like to make this time of year, contact me, your Lake Nacimiento real estate agent!
