Deadly Incident on Lake Nacimiento Water Project Results in $3 Million Settlement

The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office has reached a $3 millon settlement, more than two years after the deadly incident on the Lake nacimiento water project in Paso Robles. The DA’s office reached the settlement with Teichert Construction on Wednesday. Teichert crews were working on a ten foot trench near the intersection of Niblick and South River Roads for the project in October 2008. But on October 2, a water line ruptured drowning two men.
