Halloween Night Events on Central Coast

Central Coast Halloween
Halloween Activities in SLO and Monterey Counties

Happy Halloween! The final day of October has arrived, which means you’ll see lots of costumed children (and adults) around the Central Coast this evening, trick-or-treating and having fun! Many towns now host community events on Halloween. As your Central Coast real estate agent, allow me to fill you in on where all the fun is taking place, so you don’t miss a minute of it.

In SLO County:

1.  Kids and parents can head to the Safe and Fun Halloween in Downtown Paso Robles! From 4 to 7 p.m., enjoy a barbecue dinner, photos with the Main Street witches, trick-or-treating at participating businesses, ‘Thriller’ performances by Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation and more!

2.  Morro Bay Trick or Treat will be held for kids in 8th grade and younger. From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., head to Morro Bay Boulevard for trick-or-treating at downtown businesses. Maps may be picked up at Grandma’s Frozen Yogurt & Waffle Shop. Then a parade will take place starting at 5 p.m., followed by a costume contest and prizes. The police building will be turned into a haunted house!

3.  The Cambria Halloween Parade takes place from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. this evening. If your children would like to participate, head to the Community Center at 3:30 p.m. Participants will parade through the West Village business district and trick-or-treat as they go!

4.  The Atascadero Farmers Market happens to be tonight at Sunken Gardens, so they are hosting a trick-or-treating event from 3 to 6 p.m. Local nonprofits and businesses will hand out candy to kids, and kids can enjoy bounces houses, food and more, while you shop for your weekly groceries!

In Monterey County:

1.  The whole family can attend the Halloween Bash at Northridge Mall in Salinas! Enjoy trick-or-treating, a costume contest, pumpkin decorating and more, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. There will be a real and creepy animal display as well, presented by the Pacific Grove Natural History Museum.

2.  Seaside is hosting their Annual Halloween Bonanza for kids 10 and under at the Oldemeyer Center. Stop by between 6 and 9 p.m. to enjoy a haunted house, game booths, candy bags, photo booth, arts and crafts, free glow sticks and a costume contest.

3.  Adults in Monterey can head to Sovino Wine Bar for Pumpkins and Pinot! Carve a pumpkin while sipping on wine from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $25 and includes all carving materials, a pumpkin and a glass of wine. Reservations are required!

4.  Trick or Treat by the Bay on Old Fisherman’s Wharf tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. This is the first of its kind! Kids can trick-or-treat at participating businesses, families can check out the Halloween décor, and everyone can catch a family-friendly film at the Wharf Theatre at 5:30 p.m.

Enjoy your evening! Share a photo of your costume on our Facebook page!
