There are a lot of fun things taking place this weekend on and around Lake Nacimiento! That’s one of the things I enjoy about being a Lake Nacimiento Real Estate agent as I can confidently tell buyers that they’ll not only love the home that they buy in Oak Shores or Heritage Ranch, but will appreciate the lifestyle as well!
In my previous post, I talked about the Savor the Central Coast taking place this weekend around San Louis Obispo, which is a world renown event that I would encourage you to attend if you have the chance. But, what if you’re looking for something to do this last weekend of September that’s a little more local? Take a look at a few of the local highlights for this weekend!
Warrior Birds Over Paso

Saturday, September 29 from 8am to 5pm
– After a 10 year absence, the Warrior Birds Over Paso Airshow is back! The Estrella Warbirds Museum and the Planes of Fame Museum are teaming up to bring an amazing display of unique planes that are rarely seen today, and a jaw dropping airshow. Making a rare appearance will be the only Northrup N9M, flying wing aircraft, a predecessor to todays stealth bombers. There will be opportunities for sponsors, passenger flights on some of the aircraft, and much more! The cost is $20 for admission, but is free to active military personnel and children under 12. Admission includes entrance to the Estrella Warbirds Museum, North County Cloud Clippers Radio Controlled Aircraft, a Warbird Flight Demonstration and an opportunity to take a Warbird flight! Oak Shores Community Potluck Dinner

– Bring a dish to share at this fun, community dinner! If you’re new to Lake Nacimiento, this is a great way to meet neighbors and make new friends. We’ll listen to music by Don Young Sr. and celebrate Grandma Faye Middleton’s 95th birthday! 14th Annual HOB Fun Run
Downtown Paso Robles
Sunday, September 30
– The 14th Annual Heritage Oaks Bank Fun Run is a great time for the whole family! No matter what your level of racing experience; there’s a race that you can get involved in. From babies who can enter the Diaper Dash to young kids who can take part in the 75 yard Kids Dash or 1/2 mile Kids Run, to a 5K Run/Walk or the 10K Run for adults; the entire family can race! Not interested in racing? You can cheer friends and family on, or head to the Kids Day in the Park for face painting, art projects, games and more.
