In my last blog post, I filled you in on the best local places for holiday shopping. Are you now in need of a break from all the holiday shopping and mayhem? As your Central California real estate agent, I’d like to fill you in on the events taking place throughout December at Paso Robles wineries!
The holiday season doesn’t stop local wineries from hosting events, so you shouldn’t let the holidays stop you from attending. It’s the perfect way to relax and unwind during this bustling time of year. Plus, you can pick up some bottles of wine as gifts or to serve at holiday parties, so it’s a win-win!
- This Friday, visit Castoro Cellars for their December Yin & Vin! A 90-minute restorative practice will take place inside the Events Gallery at sunset. It will include essential oils and therapeutic touch, followed by a glass of wine and light snacks. Cost is $25 for club members and $30 for non-club members.
- Art After Dark Paso at Studios on the Park is this Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Celebrate new exhibitions, including “Handcrafted for the Holidays,” “Deck the Halls” and “Layers and Small Treasures.” While admiring art, enjoy wine tasting from San Marcos Creek and live musical performances.
- Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery is hosting their annual Illuminating Event this Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. They will light their towering Christmas tree as guests enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. The Atascadero Fine Arts Academy Choir will sing holiday music and Santa will stop by! It’s free!
- The Paso Robles Holiday Parade is this Saturday evening, so beforehand, stop into Pianetta Winery for a glass of wine, seasonal appetizers and festive music, or stop into Asuncion Ridge Vineyards for a free concert with Martin Paris. Then step outside for the parade!
- Make your very own olive wreath this holiday season at Olivas de Oro Olive Company on Dec. 12! From 12 to 5 p.m., make a wreath and sample holiday treats made with olive oils and vinegars. Donate $5 to the local Food Bank if wanting to make a wreath.
- Eberle Winery’s Holiday Open House takes place on Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Join them for gourmet treats, hot apple cider, Christmas carolers and complimentary wine tasting and cave tours! You can sit by a warm fire or by the tree with a train circling it.
- Get some holiday shopping done at J Dusi Wines on Dec. 12 at Tastes and Treats! From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., shop among local craft vendors. The barrel room will be decorated for the holidays and live music will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $10.
