The excitement is building around Lake Nacimiento as we get closer to the 4th of July celebration! Guests are finding their way to their vacationdestination around the lake and I’m sure we’ve all started thinking about how we’re going to spend the extended holiday weekend.
Our tradition of the 4th of July Pancake Breakfast continues on Lake Nacimiento, and if you haven’t been in the past; you’ll want to be sure to attend! You’ll also find time with family and friends is a great time to get out and explore our surroundings. Whether you spend the day hiking, swimming, boating or just lounging by the BBQ all day; you’ll love this holiday on our beautiful lake.
If, however, you’d like to venture out into the stunning California Central Coast on the 4th of July, there are a few fun events taking place! Both Cayucos and Cambria are about an hours’ drive from Lake Nacimiento, so if a day trip and discovering a new area sounds like a great way to spend the holiday, you may want to check out these events!

Thursday, July 4th
– Enjoy a fun-filled day in Cayucos beginning at 5am with the annual Sand Sculpture Contest by the pier! The annual parade begins at 10am on Ocean Avenue followed by BBQ and Bingo at Vet’s Hall. Cambria Picnic in the Park & Fireworks Display

Thursday, July 4th
– Cambria’s annual 4th of July celebration will be held at Shamel Park from 10am to 10pm, with family fun events, music and a BBQ all day long. A spectacular fireworks display begins at dusk and will light up the sky for miles along the coast, which are designed for low altitude in case of fog. Want to know more?
