St. Patrick’s Day is this coming Friday in Monterey County! Celebrate with a day of eating corned beef and cabbage, drinking beer, wearing green and being Irish, even if you’re not. As your Monterey County real estate agent, allow me to fill you in on where to find the best St. Patrick’s Day food and specials this Friday.
Here is where you’ll want to be on St. Patrick’s Day in Monterey County:
- Whether you stop in for lunch or dinner, Rio Grill will feature corned beef and cabbage, along with green beer to wash it down with.
- Peter B’s Brewpub will offer corned beef and cabbage, along with deals on beer and bites. Songs Harry Hotbox Taught Us, a local band, will provide live tunes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Edgar’s at Quail will be celebrating all day, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with Irish specials. Enjoy Guinness beef stew, short ribs cooked in Guinness, and chocolate mint cheesecake.
- Where better to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than in Crema, Pacific Grove’s quaint Victorian mansion? Enjoy a Rueben sandwich with corned beef, corned beef hash with eggs, and a pint of Guinness!
- The Pink Flamingo Theater hosts a monthly storytelling contest, and this month’s lands on St. Patrick’s Day, so it’ll include an Irish twist. Tell a story, or listen to others tell their stories! The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets cost $10 or $9 if you wear green.
