2 Fun Events Coming Up In Paso Robles, CA!

Central California Real Estate
Arte De Tiza in Paso Robles

The fun never ends in Paso Robles. That’s probably why it was the first of five new destinations for wine lovers that Forbes mentioned in an article! Forbes boasts about the area’s 200 plus wineries, famed zinfandels, must-see tasting rooms, laid-back approach, friendly town square, locally sourced meals and more.

Another aspect of Paso Robles that they forgot to mention is the plethora of community events and activities that are always taking place! These events really give Paso the small-town feel that Central Californians love. As your Central California real estate agent, I’d like to offer you the details on two events coming up later this month in Paso Robles!

Arte De Tiza in Paso Robles

Arte De Tiza takes place September 20, beginning at 8 a.m. in Paso Robles Downtown City Park. The downtown area completely transforms into an art palette during this event, when chalk artists come in to showcase their artistic talents.

You can choose to come by and admire the work of others, or you can bring your own chalk and show off your own talents on the sidewalks of Paso Robles! Categories are available for elementary, middle school, high school and adults. Registration is free, but show up early to claim your sidewalk space!

Awards are given to first, second and third place in each division and will be announced at the Park Bandstand at 12:30 p.m.

Taste of Downtown in Paso Robles

Taste of Downtown takes place on Sept. 20, after Arte de Tiza, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Downtown Paso Robles. Stroll through town and sample foods from area restaurants and wineries. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the local store owners, see what you’ve been missing, get reacquainted, meet new people and support local business!

Over 45 restaurants and wineries will be participating this year, so plan to arrive hungry! Passes cost $25 and include samples during the five hour time period of the event. A DJ will be playing music in City Park, and you can walk around and view the beautiful artwork from Arte de Tiza.

Mark these upcoming events in your calendar, and in the meantime, don’t forget to continue enjoying California Wine Month! Local wineries have all sorts of events and activities happening each weekend and select weeknights. Check out the calendar for more information.
