Job Title: General Manager (Onsite)

Requirements: Qualified candidates must have all the following: (1) exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and strong interpersonal skills, (2) high integrity and ethical standards, (3) proven ability to work well with homeowners, vendors and other employees, (4) Three years or more of recent onsite management experience and/or equivalent experience in Business management and Finance required (5) prior lake community management is a plus, but is not required, (6) working knowledge of the Davis-Stirling act and other law pertaining to homeowners associations is a plus, (7) experience with business management and finance and strong accounting skills, (8) be organized and have good computer skills (9) have a good knowledge of employee practices and personnel, and (10) be friendly.
Status: Full-time, expected start date is March 1, 2017.
Salary: $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience and credentials plus benefits
Location: Oak Shores is a rural private gated residential community on the shores of Lake Nacimiento in San Luis Obispo County, California. Just 30 miles outside of Paso Robles in the Central Coast wine country. Oak Shores has 851 lots with 629 single family homes constructed. Approximately 80% of the community is occupied as vacation homes and the remaining 20% are occupied on a full-time basis. The Association has 23 miles of private roads, public and private boat slips, boat marinas, campgrounds, a swimming pool, a miniature golf course, community clubhouse, and ample open space and green belt areas. The Association has 9 full-time staff and additional temporary staff that range from 6 to 11 depending on the season.
