Mortgage Values – You’ve been paying close attention to home prices, but what about home values? The price matters right now, but the value matters in the long run. Someday, you will be selling your home, and ideally, you’d like to build equity by the time that day arrives.

According to the latest Home Price Index, home values are projected to increase by 5.3 percent over the next 12 months! This is great news for current buyers. If you wait 12 months to purchase a $250,000 house, you could pay $13,250 more! If you buy now, you could save a lot of money down the road.

Plus, this means that if things keep going in the direction that they’re going now, you can sell your home for more than you bought it for down the road. That is investing in your future.
