Larry was born and raised in the Salinas Valley allowing him the insight and appreciation of the many great attributes of southern Monterey County and northern San Luis Obispo County where he has worked, played and raised a family. Living near Lake Nacimiento in the Riverview Estates section of Heritage Ranch, he enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that the area affords so well. He comes to the real estate profession continuing a lifelong career that has been marked by service to others with a deep sense of integrity and personal accountability.

Graduating from King City High School and then from San Diego State with a degree in engineering, Larry began a 30 year career in the US Navy serving on both active duty and as a reservist. As a Naval Aviator, he found tremendous fulfillment as a Search & Rescue pilot flying in many challenging environments. Now a retired US Navy Captain, Larry has gained an intense appreciation for the meaning of self-sacrifice and service to others.

Larry has also been part of the business community as an owner/operator of various retail enterprises in the local area starting in 1985. Running your own business gives one a good perspective on the true meaning of customer service – as Larry likes to say, “Do it, or fold your tent and go home”. During this time, Larry also developed experience with real estate property development and management. This strong business foundation gives Larry the needed skills to promote his clients’ interests in a very effective and professional manner.
