Lake Nacimiento Weather and Water Update: Lake Naci is at approximate 24% capacity with an elevation of 728.95 feet and a total of 9.88 inches of rainfall so far this season.

The Oak Shores Realty office located at the Oak Shores entrance gate is moving to an offsite location as of July 1, 2021.  Grace and her team have had a virtual office for over 12 years. Covid just reinforced the fact that we did not need the office at the gate.  We at Oak Shores Realty will continue to serve our clients and OSCA owners at the highest level of service as always.  Our agents can be reached on their individual cell phones or by calling the office number at 805-472-9030.

If you have keys stored with us for vendor use and wish for their return, please send an email to admin@oakshoresrealty.com and let us know if you want them returned via US mail and to what address.  If we don’t hear from you by July 31, 2021, the keys will be destroyed and recycled.

New preventative fire retardant applied along roads near Lake Nacimiento
There’s a new tool to prevent wildfires and for the first time, it’s being used in San Luis Obispo County. Several miles of roadsides around Heritage Ranch near Lake Nacimiento are now coated with a long-term fire retardant.

“It’s designed to spray alongside the road to keep fires from occurring, to stop ignitions and then if they do get ignition, reduce the spread to buy time to get the fire engines to arrive and put the fire out,” said Dan Turner, San Luis Obispo County Fire Safe Council Manger.

Phos-Chek Fortify is sprayed onto vegetation and other fuel sources that are vulnerable to fire. Read More at ksby.com.
