Located just 30 minutes from the Lake Nacimiento area is an event you won’t want to miss! The Taste of Templeton takes place on Saturday, May 3 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Templeton Community Park and celebrates local olive growers and wineries.
Admission to this event is free and wine tasting is $10 if tickets are purchased ahead of time or $15 at the door. This unique event will feature gourmet cuisine, cooking demonstrations, hand-crafted olive oil, fresh ingredients, recipe sharing, wine tasting and live music.
The Taste of Templeton is a nod to our agricultural heritage and local growers and producers of the finest, award-winning extra virgin olive oils and wines. Area wineries and local olive growers will come together to offer samples of their products.
To enhance this event even more, the largest farmer’s market in San Luis Obispo County, the Templeton Farmer’s Market, will also be held in conjunction with the Taste of Templeton from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This gives you a chance to get local produce during the same stop as enjoying gourmet food and taste the amazing wine and olive oils.
