IT’S TIME TO USE THE LAKE!!
The lake has been continuously dropping. As of June 17 the lake was at 30% with the elevation at 738 feet, the water was at the 90 foot mark on the main ramp. The Monterey County Water Resources Agency reported release schedule has the lake level on July 1 at 736 feet of elevation and as of August 1 at 725 feet of elevation. Our main ramp will have to be closed at the 728 foot elevation. Based on this report we will have to close the main ramp about the third week of July. So, if you plan on using the lake, now is the time. We do have a single wide auxiliary ramp that can be used for a short period of time. The last time we had to use this ramp was in 1994.
