Earth Day Food & Wine Fest This Weekend in Paso Robles!

Central Coast Wine

As a Central Coast real estate agent, you know how much I love to fill you in on upcoming wine festivals! Here in the Central Coast region, we have many. The next big one to be aware of and to put in your calendar is this coming weekend, April 23, in Paso Robles.

Earth Day Food & Wine Fest will take place at Castoro Cellars on April 23. It is a day to celebrate the passionate people behind the sustainable food movement. Chefs, farmers and winemakers will be serving up sustainable fare that you won’t soon forget!

General admission tickets cost $75 and include all the wine, beer and food you can handle from 2 to 5 p.m. It’s unlimited, and you can enjoy it picnic-style.

Premiere tickets include early entry at 1 p.m., reserved seating and a tote packed with samples. These tickets cost $115. If you bring all of your friends, you save! Enjoy a VIP table nestled under the oaks for $800, which you can split between everyone at the table.

Tons of vendors will be present at the fest, many which you’ve heard of if you’re familiar with the Central Coast food and wine scene. These include Ancient Peaks Winery, Artisan, California Cashew Brittle, Caliza Winery, Dark Nectar Roasting, ENZO Olive Oil Company, Fig Good Food, Just Baked SLO, JUSTIN Vineyard & Winery, RE:FIND Distillery, The Chocolate Stache and so many more. To view the entire list, check out the event website.

Event proceeds will benefit educational scholarships for relatives of farmworkers and Spanish educational programs of the Vineyard Team. Buy your tickets now, before they sell out! Parking and transportation is an additional cost, so plan ahead.

Then on Sunday, April 24, numerous vineyards and wineries across the Central Coast region will be hosting events as a way to continue the weekend fun. Tablas Creek Vineyard will be opening up amazing new releases. Thomas Hill Organics is hosting a Farm to Table dinner at Windrose Farms. Olio Nuevo is hosting a Farm Tour. View the entire schedule for Sunday on the festival website.

Enjoy a fun weekend sipping wine, indulging in delicious food, admiring the beauty of the Central Coast region, socializing with other locals and celebrating the local sustainability movement.
