Summer is in full swing, but fall is just around the corner! Now is the perfect time to enjoy the pleasant weather and check out all the local fun happening! As your Central California real estate agent, I have put together a list of upcoming events taking place the next few weeks at the local wineries. Get out of the house, enjoy the sunshine, and check out some of the local fun!
Archery at CASS Winery. Once used by our ancestors to bring food to the cook-fires, the practice of archery is a fascinating confluence of discipline and energy, focus and stamina. With guidance from the expert instructors, your group will learn the skill and pure enjoyment that comes from target-based archery. Note: Sobriety required, participants must be at least 12 years of age to attend. Offered every Friday & Saturday, 11am or 2pm time slots.
Hoyt Family Vineyards – Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting. Pet the goats, enjoy breathtaking views all while you enjoy delicious wine. Bring a picnic or opt for a charcuterie box for an additional cost. Daily, by appointment only, book here.
Zinfandel Vertical Tasting at Seven Oxen Estate Wines. Enjoy a four-vintage flight of Seven Oxen wine, including a barrel sample of a not yet released wine, in this fun and educational tasting opportunity. The September Vertical Tasting Series will feature Zinfandel. This is a rare opportunity to taste wines from the Seven Oxen library, as well as a chance to purchase older vintages of our wine. Limited quantities of featured library wines will be available for purchase at the time of your tasting. The First Weekend of the Month. Reservations from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm | $30 per person.
Sunset (Italian) Wine Dinner at Harmony Cellars. Enjoy a multi-course, Italian themed dinner prepared onsite by Chef John McDevitt paired with wine. Dinner will be served on the patio and tables will be spaced. Reservations required. Four courses + wine: $104/club, $110/pp. Call for reservations–805.927.1625. View the menu at HarmonyCellars.com. Dinner & Libations for The Station. An intimate sunset event to benefit the Piedras Blancas Light Station! Enjoy pours of Harmony Cellars wine and local beer as you wander the grounds of this national treasure. Dinner by The Hungry Mother, live music by Kenny Taylor and a silent auction will complement the experience. October 1st, 4-6:30 PM.
