In my last blog post, I filled you in on all the restaurant deals going on for SLO County Restaurant Month during the whole month of January! Today, as your Central California real estate agent, I’d like to fill you in on the wine deals that are also happening in conjunction with Restaurant Month, which is brand new this year. These deals will allow you to try new wines, and purchase wines, at a discounted price.

While the list of participating SLO County wineries is extensive, here are a few highlights from the list:

  • Adelaida Cellars has two for one tastings, seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Buy a bottle and the tasting is waived.
  • At Bon Niche Cellars, beginning Jan. 8, locals can enjoy a complimentary tasting along with a 15 percent discount on a minimum of two bottle purchases.
  • At Broken Earth Winery, stop in for a complimentary pairing of Estate wines with gourmet cheeses. Must show valid SLO County ID to get this complimentary tasting!
  • Cass Winery will be offering free tastings for SLO County residents, along with 20 percent off their 2013 Late Harvest Roussanne and 2011 Desert Syrah. Wine club members will receive 30 percent off these bottles!
  • At Derby Wine Estates, stop by for two-for-one tastings in their Almond Room, which supplies a 360-degree view of Paso Robles. They will also offer 10 percent off wine purchases.
  • At Doce Robles Winery, you can taste test wines from their new second label, Jamaican Me Thirsty Mon, as well as their Doce Robles labels. Tastings are complimentary during January!
  • Eberle Winery will feature complimentary cave tours and tastings during January, as well as complimentary Reserve Tastings on weekends. All wine purchases during the month of January will be 15 percent off.
  • At Graveyard Vineyards, when you purchase a case of wine, mixed or single varietal, you’ll receive a 10 percent discount and your choice of one of four Graveyard t-shirts.
  • Harmony Cellars is offering free wine tasting for all SLO County wine lovers during the month of January. This includes Chardonnays, Rieslings, Zinfandels and Cabernets.
  • LXV Wine will introduce a sensory pairing menu, Tantric Bites, for the month of January, which will be paired with a flight of each of their wines. Cost is $25 and the menu is truly scrumptious.
  • At Rockin’ R Winery, you’ll receive a 50 percent discount on a case of 2010 Europa with a SLO County ID and when you mention the R-secret phrase, “Europa is Rockin’ R World!”
  • At San Antonio Winery, you’ll receive a free Artisan tasting, which is a $15 value, during the month of January. See what all the gold medals are about!
  • Tablas Creek Vineyard is offering free tours of their estate vineyard, nursery and winery. Locals can also receive $15 off any purchase of $100 or more.
  • Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery provides complimentary wine tasting of your choice during the month of January for SLO County residents. Select their Estate, Reserve or White Wine only tastings.
