Jack Creek Farms – Make a day out of your trip to historic Jack Creek Farms in Paso Robles! You can pick your own pumpkins and then enjoy cider tasting, honey tasting, farm animals, antique farm equipment, a hay maze, a wooden train and so much more. The first in this family to plant pumpkins along the banks of Jack Creek was in 1898, there is a lot of history here!
Avila Valley Barn – This is always a wonderful attraction to check out in Avila Beach, but they’ve got tons to offer this time of year! Enjoy picking a pumpkin from the pumpkin patches, a petting zoo, hay rides, horseback riding, a corn maze and more, not to mention their delicious assortment of treats.
Chesebrough Farm – Located in Templeton, this place specializes in pumpkins, squash and corn, along with other fresh fall vegetables. Whether looking for pumpkins to decorate with, carve or cook/bake, they’ve got over 50 varieties of pumpkins and squash.
River “K” Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze – If looking for pumpkins and a fun day finding your way through a corn maze, this place in Paso Robles is for you. They have a large assortment of pumpkins in their patch, and they’ve got over three acres of corn maze fun for you find your way through. It has been a family-owned business for over 20 years!
Borchard Farms – You won’t forget a trip to Borchard Farms in Salinas, as they are home of the giant pumpkins. They’ve got pumpkins in any size you’re looking for, along with a Ghost Town, a Haunted Barn, a five-acre corn maze and lots of farm animals. The 19th Annual California State Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off takes place Oct. 20.
