When you’d like to get out of the house and enjoy some free live music in the beautiful Central Coast outdoors, you’ve got lots of options this summer! As your Central Coast real estate agent, I’ve put together a list of some of the weekly concert series in SLO County. Keep this schedule handy! It could make for a great Father’s Day activity this coming weekend.
1. Derby Wine Estates hosts a Friday Night Music Series at their winery in Paso Robles every Friday evening until Aug 30. This runs from 6 to 9 p.m. There is no cover charge, so just enjoy local bands on the patio and purchase wine or food from Derby Smokehouse. This Friday is The Rockin Bs Trio.
2. The Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series takes place at Ramona Garden Park Center in Grover Beach every Sunday until Aug. 18. This runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Bring low back chairs or shoes for dancing. Food, beer and wine will be available to purchase. This Sunday is the AJM Band.
3. Rava Wines hosts a Summer Concert Series at their Paso Robles tasting room patio on select days, including this Saturday and Sunday. It’s free, bring blankets or chairs! This Saturday is a Graduation Celebration with Gilbert Bonilla and The Hurricane Food Truck. Sunday is Dads and Grads with Gilbert Bonilla and Paradise Shaved Ice.
4. Tunes at Talley takes place at Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Grande every other Sunday until Aug. 25. This runs from 12 to 3 p.m. It’s free! This Sunday is Damon Castillo.
5. Halter Ranch in Paso Robles hosts Sunday Sessions every Sunday afternoon through Oct. 27! This runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free, pizza and wine flights are available for $20 to $25. The live music runs from 1 to 4 p.m., with wood-fired pizzas available from the Executive Chef.
6. Templeton Concerts in the Park take place on Wednesdays, running through Aug. 21. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., enjoy free live music out in the park at Templeton Recreation Dept! This Wednesday is Los Gatos Locos, playing rock, funk, Motown and Latin.
7. Live Music Wednesdays take place at SeaVenture Beach Hotel in Pismo Beach. Dine at SeaVenture Restaurant and enjoy live music from 6 to 9 p.m. They also host Acoustic Sundays from 3 to 6 p.m.
8. Paso Robles Concerts in the Park take place on Thursdays evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. now through Aug. 15. Bring blankets, chairs and picnic baskets. This week is The Jammies, playing rock, funk and reggae.
9. Saturdays in the Park at Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. every Saturday until Aug. 10, except July 13. Free to attend, food is available for purchase.
