While 2020 isn’t a normal year, the holidays will still arrive, and it is our job to make the most of them! In SLO County and Monterey County, you’ve still got lots of Thanksgiving dinner options if you want to dine at a restaurant, or if you want to take a cooked meal home to enjoy. As your Central Coast real estate agent, allow me to fill you in on some of your options. This is a great way to support local restaurants during a year that has been rough on everyone!
1. The Steakhouse at Paso Robles Inn is hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 26. Plated dinner includes a starter, choice of entree, choice of dessert, champagne and non-alcoholic beverages. Cost is $36 per person, $16 per child ages 5-13. Indoor and outdoor dining available, reservations recommended. To-go meals are also available. A two-person serving is $52, a four-person serving is $104. Pre-order by Friday, Nov. 20!
2. Brasserie SLO is hosting a dining option for Thanksgiving, and Take & Bake Family Meals for Four. Their menu includes butternut squash soup, mixed greens, grilled octopus and salmon, squash risotto, turkey breast with all the sides, and much more. Choose what you want! Reservations recommended but not required. Pre-order your to-go meal by Nov. 22, which includes soup, salad, turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pies and more.
3. Thomas Hill Organics in Paso Robles has a Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go. Order by 6 p.m. on Nov. 21, pick up between 4 and 6 p.m. on Nov. 25. The drive-thru pickup in the alley will make it as easy as possible. Cost is $50 per person plus tax, menu includes herbed roasted turkey breast, chestnut stuffing, bacon and brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, cranberry chutney and more.
4. Fandango Restaurant in Pacific Grove has a Thanksgiving menu that includes turkey, filet of roasted beef, honey glazed baked ham, tortellini, a variety of desserts and more. Seating is outdoors only. Cost is $55.75 for adults, $25.75 for kids 12 and under. Call to reserve your seat!
5. Ill Fornaio Cucina Italiana in Carmel is offering dine-in and to-go meals for you to bring home and enjoy. This includes soup, roasted turkey breast, stuffing, cranberry sauce, baked yams, mashed potatoes and more. Cost is $51.95 for adults, 19.95 for kids 12 and under. Pre-order and pick up on either Nov. 25 between 12 and 9 p.m., or Nov. 26 between 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
