As we approach spring here on Lake Nacimiento, it’s also a time when the activity increases for the Lake Nacimiento Real Estate market. Buyers turn their thoughts to spending long vacations on Lake Nacimiento this summer. MoneyCNN noted the S&P/Chase-Shiller index which showed home prices boasting the largest percentage gain in more than two years. Home prices were up 4.3% in October 2012 when compared to October 2011. This is due in part to factors such as a five year low in foreclosures, lower unemployment and the still low mortgage rates will result in more active buyers. This, in turn, will drive up home prices.
The National Association of Realtors chief economist, Lawrence Yun, commented on the recovering market for 2013 by adding that “sellers will smile more, and buyers will need a more concentrated focus.” Buyers will find greater competition and will need to act quickly when they find a home they like.
