Mother’s Day in Monterey County

Have you planned mom’s special day this weekend on the Central Coast? As your Central Coast real estate agent, I shared lots of ideas for you in my last blog post, for things to do in SLO County for Mother’s Day. If you live in or closer to Monterey County, you’ve got lots of options as well. Browse through this list and make a reservation doing what you think mom would enjoy the most!

Here is a selection of brunch options for this Sunday, May 8:

  • Aubergine Restaurant at L’Auberge Carmel hosts a spectacular brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $110 per person and includes an array of hos d’oeuvres and appetizers while your menu order is prepared right at your table!
  • Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley will feature a Mother’s Day Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $85 for adults 13 and up, $32 for children five to 12, and free for kids under five. It’ll feature local organic vegetables, naturally raised meats and farmhouse cheeses!
  • Crema in Pacific Grove has a special offering for moms. Every mom that walks through the door will receive a petite, hand-wrapped nosegay bouquet with fresh spring flowers! Specialty menu items will be offered along with the regular menu, such as salt and herb crusted Prime Rib or Avocado Benedict.
  • Stillwater Bar & Grill in Pebble Beach is a great brunch option for moms with young kids! Their buffet highlights include a carving station, chilled seafood and desserts. Then they have a special kids’ buffet as well! This runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $116 for adults and $54 for kids ages five to 12.
  • At Montrio Bistro in Monterey, everyone can enjoy half-price wines, including champagne and sparkling wine, half bottles and by-the-glass selections. When moms order some wine or champagne, they’ll also receive a small-bite dessert that pairs perfectly with their selection.
  • Bayonet and Black Horse golf courses in Seaside will host a buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $34.95 for adults and $16.95 for kids six to 12. The buffet will include an omelet station, carving station, desserts and more. For those 21 and older, mimosas and champagne is included!
