Lake Naci is at approximate 68% capacity with an elevation of 777 feet and a total of 20.15 inches of rainfall so far this season. Both Main Marina and West Ramp are open for launching.

Below are a few friendly reminders about the current parking regulations:

  • Parking in the Main Marina is “owner’s only” on Saturday, Sunday and major Holidays.
  • Unattached trailers are not allowed to be parked in the parking lots or on the streets at any time, and overnight parking  in the Marina and West Ramp parking lots is not allowed.
  • The 7 day in 3 day out rule in the public boat slips is being strictly enforced. Please keep track of the time that your watercraft is parked in the slips to avoid a $100 fine.
  • Both the Main Marina and West Ramp are closed at 10pm. If you plan to go out on your boat later than that or go night fishing, please come to the office for a Special Use Permit so that your vehicle is marked as permitted to be in the parking lot after 10pm.Canopy policy:
    This year the canopy policy is going to be strictly enforced to keep the beach areas open and clean and give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the areas. Canopies will not be allowed to be left on any beach at the West Ramp or Main Marina for longer than 7 days, and if left for 7 days, it must be used every day, but we do highly suggest that canopies be removed daily. Please respect this rule. The staff will remove all canopies that are in violation of the rule.If you have any questions about any of these items, please feel free to contact our office.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Members that call or email the gate with their guest lists ATLEAST 24 to 48 hours in advance will have their guests entered into the V.I.P Guest Entry Program. If you have guests coming in this weekend please contact the gate asap. You can call the gate at 805/472-2230 or email them at oscagate@oakshores.us. Please remember that you have to give the gate your property ACCOUNT # every time you authorize guests into the community.
If you have authorized your guests into the community within 24 to 48 hours in advance, the gate staff will have their guest pass pre-printed. Upon their arrival, we will welcome them to Oak Shores, provide them with their guest pass and Welcome Packet and they will be on their way.
This program is for guests in vehicles only, and guests bringing in a watercraft unfortunately do not qualify for the V.I.P program as their vessels have to be inspected and registered.
PLEASE NOTE, that if your family is on your permanent guest list and they DO NOT have an owners sticker and you are expecting them this weekend, you still have to call them in the gate so that we can pre-print their pass or they will be waiting in line. We don’t know they are coming unless you tell us!
All guests that are not on the guest list will be denied access to the community. Staff will be extremely busy and it will be very difficult to contact owners who have not called in their guests. Please do not leave your friends and family in line or waiting at the gate, call or email your guest list in today! Our staff will be working hard to get your family and friends in as fast as possible.

Oak Shores Community

We are excited to inform you that ROCK ‘N’ ROBLES is now available for DELIVERY to Oak Shores on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You must call your order in by 5pm and use a credit card and meet the delivery person at our front gate at 6pm. Order pizza, pastas, salads, desserts, (beer and wine available with I.D at pick up) minimum order must be $20.00 — Order at 805-296-3459.

We are still in desperate need of volunteers to join the recreation committee so it is not always the same few volunteers working every event. We love meeting new people and new ideas and everyone loves to have fun! Please call Janice Gillenwater at 805-472-9404.

Happy 4th of July!
Please celebrate safely.

Hello friends,

Just wanted to say hello and that our Pancake Breakfast is just around the corner. I am looking for volunteers for the following, We will be serving from 8:30 -10 am or earlier  if we run out of food!  This event is fun and we all are on the lake or back at home by 10:30 .

Bacon cooks (could be day before event and just heat day off) could also use our kitchen the day before so you don’t have to cook all of it at your home and just reheat the day of event.

This event is a fun and very appreciated breakfast by our community and guest that attend and if possible I am asking every person to wear Red White and Blue, if able!!!! If you don’t have it, no worries.

  • The 7 day in 3 day out rule in the public boat slips is being strictly enforced. Please keep track of the time that your watercraft is parked in the slips to avoid a $100 fine.
  • Both the Main Marina and West Ramp are closed at 10pm. If you plan to go out on your boat later than that or go night fishing, please come to the office for a Special Use Permit so that your vehicle is marked as permitted to be in the parking lot after 10pm.Canopy policy:
    This year the canopy policy is going to be strictly enforced to keep the beach areas open and clean and give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the areas. Canopies will not be allowed to be left on any beach at the West Ramp or Main Marina for longer than 7 days, and if left for 7 days, it must be used every day, but we do highly suggest that canopies be removed daily. Please respect this rule. The staff will remove all canopies that are in violation of the rule.If you have any questions about any of these items, please feel free to contact our office.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Members that call or email the gate with their guest lists ATLEAST 24 to 48 hours in advance will have their guests entered into the V.I.P Guest Entry Program. If you have guests coming in this weekend please contact the gate asap. You can call the gate at 805/472-2230 or email them at oscagate@oakshores.us. Please remember that you have to give the gate your property ACCOUNT # every time you authorize guests into the community.
If you have authorized your guests into the community within 24 to 48 hours in advance, the gate staff will have their guest pass pre-printed. Upon their arrival, we will welcome them to Oak Shores, provide them with their guest pass and Welcome Packet and they will be on their way.
This program is for guests in vehicles only, and guests bringing in a watercraft unfortunately do not qualify for the V.I.P program as their vessels have to be inspected and registered.
PLEASE NOTE, that if your family is on your permanent guest list and they DO NOT have an owners sticker and you are expecting them this weekend, you still have to call them in the gate so that we can pre-print their pass or they will be waiting in line. We don’t know they are coming unless you tell us!
All guests that are not on the guest list will be denied access to the community. Staff will be extremely busy and it will be very difficult to contact owners who have not called in their guests. Please do not leave your friends and family in line or waiting at the gate, call or email your guest list in today! Our staff will be working hard to get your family and friends in as fast as possible.

Oak Shores Community

We are excited to inform you that ROCK ‘N’ ROBLES is now available for DELIVERY to Oak Shores on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You must call your order in by 5pm and use a credit card and meet the delivery person at our front gate at 6pm. Order pizza, pastas, salads, desserts, (beer and wine available with I.D at pick up) minimum order must be $20.00 — Order at 805-296-3459.

Lake Naci is at approximate 83% capacity with an elevation of 788.3 feet and a total of 20.12 inches of rainfall so far this season. The West Ramp is open, Main Ramp is opening for launching only, no parking. The golf cart parking will transition off of street down into the upper parking lot.

Happy Memorial Day

With the extremely limited parking, it has been a bit confusing at the West launch ramp and parking areas and we would like to make sure that everyone is clear as to what is allowed at this time:

Main Marina parking:
The roadway next to the pool has been marked for golf carts, scooters and jeep parking only. Launching is still closed at the Main Marina.

West Ramp parking:
Launching is open at the West Ramp.  Parking is available at the West Ramp for VEHICLES ONLY at all times. Trailers are not allowed at any time. After launching, you must bring your watercraft trailers back to your home.  On Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, parking is OWNERS ONLY. Guests and Renters vehicles are not allowed to be parked in any of these parking lots on those days.  We highly suggest that owners ride-share with their guests to the Marinas in their stickered owners vehicles.

Beginning Saturday of Memorial weekend, all parking at both Marinas on Saturdays and Sundays will be “owners only”. Only vehicles with current Oak Shores owners stickers will be allowed to park in the parking lots and designated parking areas and overflow parking areas.

Public Slip watercraft parking:
Beginning Saturday May 27th, the staff will be monitoring and enforcing the 7 day in 3 day out rule in the public boat slips in the Main marina. Owners will be responsible for keeping track of how long their watercraft is left in the slips. Anyone that leaves their watercrafts in the slips longer than 7 days, will be fined. Please note that mooring of vehicles on the shore is not allowed.

Canopy policy:
This year the canopy policy is going to be strictly enforced to keep the beach areas open and clean and give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the areas. Canopies will not be allowed to be left on any beach at the West Ramp or Main Marina for longer than 7 days, and if left for 7 days, it must be used every day, but we do highly suggest that canopies be removed daily. Please respect this rule. The staff will remove all canopies that are in violation of the rule.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Members that call or email the gate with their guest lists ATLEAST 24 to 48 hours in advance will have their guests entered into the V.I.P Guest Entry Program. If you have guests coming in this weekend please contact the gate asap. You can call the gate at 805/472-2230 or email them at oscagate@oakshores.us. Please remember that you have to give the gate your property ACCOUNT # every time you authorize guests into the community.
If you have authorized your guests into the community within 24 to 48 hours in advance, the gate staff will have their guest pass pre-printed. Upon their arrival, we will welcome them to Oak Shores, provide them with their guest pass and Welcome Packet and they will be on their way.
This program is for guests in vehicles only, and guests bringing in a watercraft unfortunately do not qualify for the V.I.P program as their vessels have to be inspected and registered.
PLEASE NOTE, that if your family is on your permanent guest list and they DO NOT have an owners sticker and you are expecting them this weekend, you still have to call them in the gate so that we can pre-print their pass or they will be waiting in line. We don’t know they are coming unless you tell us!
All guests that are not on the guest list will be denied access to the community. Staff will be extremely busy and it will be very difficult to contact owners who have not called in their guests. Please do not leave your friends and family in line or waiting at the gate, call or email your guest list in today! Our staff will be working hard to get your family and friends in as fast as possible.

Oak Shores Community

We are excited to inform you that ROCK ‘N’ ROBLES is now available for DELIVERY to Oak Shores on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You must call your order in by 5pm and use a credit card and meet the delivery person at our front gate at 6pm. Order pizza, pastas, salads, desserts, (beer and wine available with I.D at pick up) minimum order must be $20.00 — Order at 805-296-3459.

We are still in desperate need of volunteers to join the recreation committee so it is not always the same few volunteers working every event. We love meeting new people and new ideas and everyone loves to have fun! Please call Janice Gillenwater at 805-472-9404.

 

 

It’s that time of the year again, for Oak Shores’ 21st Annual Kids Fishing Derby; June 10th!

This event is put on for the community children 100% by donations and sponsorships. If you would like to be a sponsor or would like to make a donation towards this event please mail checks and sponsorships to 2727 Turkey Cove Road, Bradley, CA 93426 C/O Kids Fishing Derby.

Nacimiento arsonist could have caused another Chimney Fire. Now she’s going to prison.

Citing the “serial nature” of fires set by a 58-year-old Bradley woman last summer, a San Luis Obispo Superior Court judge denied her attorney’s request for probation and sentenced her to nearly three years in state prison.

Debra Kay Collins choked back tears as she received two years and eight months in prison for lighting a string of wildland grass fires in the North County in August while local emergency personnel were busy fighting the Chimney Fire. Read more at the Tribune.
