LAKE NACIMIENTO WEATHER AND WATER UPDATE:

Lake Nacimiento’s levels are currently at 62% and an elevation of 771.6 with a total of 8.46 inches of rain fall so far this year.

REMINDER

QUAGGA MUSSEL INSPECTIONS UNDERRWAY AT LAKES NACIMIENTO AND SAN ANTONIO

Park officials at Lake Nacimiento and San Antonio are reminding boaters to keep hitchhiking
quagga mussels out of the water. This invasive species could dramatically change these lakes.

PRELAUNCH BOAT INSPECTIONS REQUIRED AT LOCAL LAKES

Boaters can expect to have their boats inspected before launching this summer. Special prelaunch
procedures are being conducted to prevent quagga and zebra mussels from invading local lakes.
