Harvest on the Coast This Weekend in SLO County

SLO County Events
Harvest on the Coast, SLO County

This weekend is an exciting one in Central California! Earlier in the week, I shared the details on the Garagiste Festival in Paso Robles. Also taking place this weekend is Harvest on the Coast in SLO County! As your Central California real estate agent, allow me to fill you in on the details.

Harvest on the Coast takes place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 6-8. Friday kicks off with the “Crafted on the Coast” collaborative winemaker dinner. It is hosted by Biddle Ranch Vineyard House in Edna Valley with local chef Julie Simon from Foremost Wine Co. A wine reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner. Cost is $125 per person.

Saturday is the Grand Tasting and Wine Auction at Avila Beach Resort, beginning at 11 a.m. with early admission tickets, or at 12 p.m. with general admission.

The beachside grand tasting event will feature more than 50 wineries and restaurants dishing out handcrafted wines and local cuisine. While you sip and munch on these delicious flavors, you can enjoy live music by local rock band Moonshiner Collective.

Then at 2 p.m. on Saturday, the lifestyle and wine auction begins! This will feature a selection of rare wines, culinary treats and SLO Wine Country destination experiences. You can reserve a table for eight if you want to stake your claims at the auction. There will be a number of silent auction items available as well.

Early entry tickets for Saturday’s grand tasting event cost $100. During the early admission hour, you can enjoy exclusive library and reserve wines served only during this hour. General admission tickets cost $75.

This year, Harvest on the Coast has added a new event to follow up Saturday’s festivities. It is called Slider Sunday! Each participating winery will present its own “slider” creation, along with wine and other small bites. This takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be great six-pack wine specials available for the upcoming holiday season. Slider Sunday is included with Saturday’s Grand Tasting ticket!

As you can see, you have numerous options as to how to spend this weekend in Central California. Will you sip wines at Garagiste Festival in Paso Robles, sip wines and make auction offers at Harvest on the Coast in Avila Beach, or will you do something else?

Another option I wanted to share with you is Evening in the Garden at Mission San Antonio de Padua! It takes place this Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. You can sample local wines, much on specially catered food and enjoy the ambiance of the Padres’ Garden. Cost is $50 in advance, $60 at the door.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you enjoy your first November weekend here in Central California. When you’re ready to buy a Central California home, or when ready to sell your Central California home, contact me, your Central California real estate agent! I am here and ready to help you throughout the fall and winter seasons.
