With Memorial Day weekend behind us, we’ve officially entered the summer season here on Lake Nacimiento. – Don’t miss the annual Fiesta held in honor of St. Anthony’s Feast Day! Held each year on the second Sunday in June, the Fiesta is a fun filled day for all ages. The festival begins with a special Mass at 11am after which a processional leads to the Fiesta grounds. Local bands provide music for dancing, and games occupy the children while parents meander to enjoy local homemade desserts, wine and beer, and local artisans and their wares. This is a fundraising event as well, so plated meals from the traditional oak-fired barbeque can be purchased to help raise funds (no private coolers allowed). Don’t miss out on this well loved event at the Mission!
