As a Lake Nacimiento Real Estate agent, I always enjoy the Concerts in the Park during the summer months in Paso Robles. Running from
June 15th – August 24th, there is great entertainment every Friday night. With August quickly approaching, there are only a couple concerts left to catch.
August 3rd beginning at 5:30 p.m. Human Nation will be performing. Created by the lead singer of rock band Maroon 5, Human Nation is a group of the most talented musicians on the central coast of California. They play a large range of music from samba to urban funk. Formed in 2009, Human Nation have quickly become local celebrities, performing regularly at wineries, and they’ve gained a large fan base.
The following Friday you can find the Air Force Band of the Golden West performing. With approximately 40 performers, the concert band has performed for thousands of people. The Air Force band was first founded in 1941 and has gone through multiple name changes, and the most recent one was made on May 1st 1997. In addition to playing standard band music you will hear Broadway standards and pop arrangements among many other genres. Currently touring Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, and California, the Air Force Band will be in Paso Robles on Friday, August 10th at 5:30 p.m.
August 17th, Monte Mills will be performing live. He is known on the California Central Coast as one of the last yodeling cowboys. Responsible for helping keep western swing music alive, Monte is also the best at what he does. Having just celebrated his 35th year in the business, he has performed for people like President Reagan and Governor Dukemegian. Come out and enjoy great cowboy songs from one of California’s greatest cowboys.
End Concerts in the Park on August 24th with Soul Sauce. Performing a mixture of soul, reggae, rock and blues, this local band is always great entertainment. Soul Sauce is composed for four men who all take turns on vocals. You can wrap up the summer with friends and neighbors by enjoying this great ensemble.
